QM 451.2 T-M (Ft. Monmouth)

Subject: Procurement of Truck, 1/4 ton (LC), 4x2, Panel Delivery Body for Signal Corps.

To: Commanding Officer, Holabird Qm. Depot, Balto. Md.

1. This office has an approved requirement from the Signal Corps Laboratories, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, for one (1) Truck 1/4 ton (Light chassis), 4x2, panel delivery body; to be similar and equal to "Bantam Super 4" as manufactured by American Bantam Car Company, Butler, Pa. Information is requested as to whether your office is willing to release the one (1), (light chassis) 1/4-ton, Bantam, Truck Chassis, with improvised body procured under Invitation for Bids No. 398-38-81, now on hand at your depot to apply on the requirement in question. If so, advice is requested as to whether this vehicle is in A-l serviceable condition, or whether it can be placed in first-class serviceable condition and the estimated cost thereof.
