To: Commanding Officer, Holabird Quartermaster Depot, Balto., Md.
1. Authority TR-1138 is granted for the issue of the following Bantam 1/4-Ton 4x2 Chassis being purchased on Invitation for Bids 398-58-81 from the American Bantam Car Company, Butler, Pennsylvania to the stations listed below:

These vehicles are being purchased for experimental purposes.
2. Route order covering the vehicle to be shipped for Fort Riley, Kansas, is attached.
3. U.S. Registration Nos. W 1270 to W 1272 are assigned for use an the above referred to vehicles. Plates should be provided and attached prior to shipment from the factory.
4. QMC form #220 and #221 should be accomplished when the necessary date becomes available,
