CJ2-04 is a 1944 CJ-2 Agrijeep prototype that was used by Willys-Overland for their testing. This jeep was one of the three CJ-2s saved by some of the Willys-Overland engineers. (See CJ2-03) This vehicle was saved by an engineer for his son. His son was starting to drive and was looking for a car. His dad convinced him that he should have a jeep. The father arranged for CJ2-04 to be rebuilt and painted whatever color his son wanted. His son picked red.
